We are delighted to announce our five-week summer programme will run from 30 June to 1 August 2025.  Our diverse evening and daytime classes give many opportunities to start and learn Chinese! In addition, our Chinese Conversational Elementary and Intermediate courses will provide opportunities for those who want to spend some dedicated time practicing and consolidating their conversation skills. It will help students with elementary and intermediate language levels develop well-balanced speaking and listening competence by learning and applying Chinese communicative skills in a specific professional or cultural context.

Location: 

This summer, we are delivering our language programme in a mix of in-person and online formats. A maximum capacity has been set per group to optimise the learning experience – so space is very limited!

All in-person classes will take place on the Confucius Institute for Scotland campus, 79 Dalkeith Rd, Edinburgh EH16 5AL. Online courses will take place via Zoom.
