Wang Ziyi received her bachelor’s degree from Shanghai International Studies University and is now a postgraduate student at the International Cultural Exchange School of Fudan University. Her major is to teach foreigners Chinese as a second language. Her love for this major gradually deepened as she explored more in this area, and being a real Chinese teacher at the university has always been one of her dreams. 

She joined the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh in September 2023. She hopes to use her time in Edinburgh to embrace different cultures and help more Chinese learners enjoy their journey of learning Chinese.
