Lanny Tsou, BA MED, National Kaohsiung Normal University Associate Professor.
Ms. Tsou is an experienced educator and has previous teaching experience in Taiwan, Hong Kong and New Zealand. She obtained a diploma from the Department of News Editing and Reporting from The World College of Journalism (Shih Hsin University). She received a certificate from the Taipei Language Institute Center for Teacher Chinese as a Second Language in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Chinese Language and Literature and has a Master degree in education, major in Teaching Chinese as a Second language from the University of Hong Kong. Her research area focuses on the teaching strategy and curriculum designing for the Second Language. She held many workshops for teachers and students from local secondary schools and the University of Hong Kong in recent years. Meanwhile, she was also the Chinese leader of the 21st Century Learning International. She is currently teaching in the National Kaohsiung Normal University as an Associate Professor. She is also the author of three books specializing in IB teachings and pedagogy – IBDP Chinese Teaching Practices (IBDP中文教學與實踐), Teaching and Learning Pedagogy: Diverse Teaching of the IBMYP programme (IBMYP教與學剖析) and Leading in Chinese (前進中文)

語言教學所面臨的時代變化

Comprehensive Understanding of Differentiated Learning Teaching Methods

Due to COVID-19, these past two years have undoubtedly been transformational in education. Teaching methods in particular have had to adapt and go through tremendous modification to accommodate such change. Effective use of differentiated learning in curriculum design has therefore become increasingly crucial in the design of International dual language teaching. Specifically emphasizing the increased utilization of technology to aid teaching and the continuation of dual language multicultural teaching, which incorporates global issues into the curriculum as important themes when teaching Chinese.

This workshop will introduce incorporating differentiation into learning in class, curriculum design, teaching strategies, and material selection, to help educators adapt to a constantly evolving era of teaching.

2022年是一個至為關鍵的重要時期,在疫情之下,全世界的教學模式發生巨大的變化之外,學習科技的運用、雙語多元化元素的持續增加以及全球化議題融入課程等,都是當前國際華語教學必須重視的議題,有效運用區分式教學進行課程設計也是未來國際雙語課程設計的重要關鍵。

有鑑於此,本工作坊將介紹在語言課程中善用區分式進行教學,將在課程設計、策略運用、教材選項等區分方式及原則詳細介紹,讓教與學更加有效率並提升教師教學的能量。
