Huang Qiyun graduated from the Communication University of China with a bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies at Fudan University’s International Cultural Exchange School. She is specialising in International Chinese Language Education. Her passion for teaching Chinese has strengthened over time, and becoming an excellent Chinese teacher has always been one of her aspirations.

She joined the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh in September 2023. She hopes to use her time in Edinburgh to embrace different cultures and help more Chinese learners enjoy their journey of learning Chinese.
