This summer, we are offering condensed 5-week beginner level programmes across July and August. These 5-week programmes offer a good alternative for those who missed out on our regular 10-week programmes during the academic year.
The July 5-week programme will run from 29th June to 31st July
The August 5-week programme will run from the 27th July to 28th August.
For the very keen beginner, we are also offering an intensive Chinese language learning experience, where you can study Beginners 1 in the July programme, and progress onto Beginners 2 in August – a rare opportunity to cover 2 levels within 10 weeks.
In addition, our Chinese Conversational Elementary and Intermediate courses will provide opportunities for those who want to spend some dedicated time practising and consolidating their Chinese speaking skills. It will help students with elementary and intermediate language levels develop well-balanced speaking and listening competence by learning and applying Chinese communicative skills in a specific context.
Location:
This summer, we will continue to deliver our language programme both in-person and online. A maximum capacity has been set per group to optimise the learning experience – so space is limited.
All in-person classes will take place on the Confucius Institute for Scotland campus, Abden House, 1 Marchhall Crescent, Edinburgh EH16 5HP. Online courses will take place via Teams.
