Shen Xiaolong

Position: Chinese Co-Director

Professor Shen Xiaolong was the first co-director of the Confucius Institute for Scotland seconded by Fudan University for one year. With a background in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language as well as Linguistic Theory and Cultural Linguistics he brought to the post a range of attributes which ensured the Institutes’s teaching programme was quickly and effectively established.
