HSKK Levels

HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) assesses the test takers’ oral Chinese abilities. HSKK consists of three levels, HSKK (Beginner level), HSKK (Intermediate level) and HSKK (Advanced level). HSKK is conducted in a format of audio recording.

Test Target

The HSK Speaking Test (Beginner Level) is for students who have studied Chinese 2-3 class hours per week for 10-20 weeks and have a vocabulary of approx. 200 words.

The HSK Speaking Test (Intermediate Level) is for students who have studied Chinese 2-3 hours per week for 1-2 academic years and have acquired a vocabulary of approx. 900 words.

The HSK Speaking Test (Advanced Level) is for students who have studied Chinese 2-3 class hours per week for more than 2 academic years and have mastered a vocabulary of approx. 3000 words.

Test Certificates

The full scores of HSKK beginner, intermediate and advanced levels are 100, and passing scores are 60.

Test takers will receive the results for the HSKK issued by Hanban one month after the test. Test results are valid for two years.
