刘士娟教授，博士毕业于美国印第安纳大学布卢明顿教学系统科技专业。 自1996年起从事国际中文教学工作。曾先后在中国人民大学、加州州立大学洛杉矶分校、美国西北大学等高校任教。现任宾州印第安那大学语言文学写作系教授。 从《科技与中文教学》（Journal of Technology and Chinese Language Teaching）2010年创刊开始任编辑至今，目前担任其执行主编。此外还是Journal of China Computer-Assisted Language Learning 等期刊编委会成员。其研究成果曾发表于多种学术期刊和编著。曾应邀在国际会议上做过主旨演讲和不同国家做过讲座和工作坊。

Professor Shijuan Liu holds a doctorate in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University Bloomington. She has been working in the field of language teaching and learning since 1996. Currently, she is a full professor in the Department of Language, Literature, and Writing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, teaching a variety of courses and advising doctoral dissertations. She has been an editor for the Journal of Technology and Chinese Language Teaching (JTCLT)since 2010, and has published two edited books on the teaching and learning of the Chinese language online across the globe. Dr. Liu has given over 40 invited talks and workshops at international conferences and in prestigious institutions worldwide.
