Liu Xu is a postgraduate student from the School of Chinese Studies and Cultural Exchange at Renmin University of China. Her major is Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. Five years of study in this field have given her a wealth of teaching knowledge and experience. She joined the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh in September 2023.

She enjoys reading, cooking, travelling, photography, and meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds in her spare time. She loves Edinburgh very much; she hopes to experience the Scottish culture and start a new life here.
