Jia Yulu is a postgraduate student at the International Cultural Exchange School, East China Normal University, China, majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. She systematically studied theoretical knowledge and accumulated teaching experience during her first year. She joined the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh in September 2023.

She enjoys travelling, dancing and talking with people from different cultural backgrounds in her spare time. She hopes to explore the joy of learning the Chinese language with her students.
