Three months after opening interim offices within the University of Edinburgh central campus, the Confucius Institute for Scotland today moved to its permanent headquarters, Abden House.
The refurbishment work co-ordinated by the Estates and Buildings department within the University of Edinburgh, was part sponsored by the Scottish Executive. The work carried out to the upper floors has created a superb contemporary teaching and learning environment.
Timetabled classes at Abden House will start in October 2007 prior to which there will be a number of `taster` events to introduce the Institute and its activities to businesses and the interested public.
