Thursday evening talks in the autumn 2012 lecture series running on 27 September, 25 October and 29 November took place in the Confucius Institute for Scotland in the University of Edinburgh which is based in Abden House which is located just off Dalkeith Road. These talks started at 6pm running through till 7.30pm including Q&A and will be followed by a drinks reception

The talk by Nathan Parnaby on Thursday 22 November 2012 was held in the John McIntyre Conference Centre located close to the main entrance of Pollock Halls of Residence, 18 Holyrood Park Road, Edinburgh EH16 5AY

Parking is available in the Institute grounds and in the parking area just outside the gates leading to Abden House.  Drivers should access Marchhall Crescent by turning off Dalkeith Road into Priestfield Road, then turn first left onto Marchhall Crescent. Abden House is at the end of this road through the gates.

Parking is available on Holyrood Park Road, and in the car park just outside the main gates to Abden House. It is less than 5 minutes walk from Abden House to St Leonard's Hall.. Those parking near Abden House should use the arch gateway in the wall between Abden House grounds and Pollock Halls then follow signs for St Leonard's Hall. It is the large baronial building immediately after the main entranceway to Pollock Halls.
