Rhythm of the Drums: Song of the Cicada is a one hour late lunchtime show starting at 13.40 which takes place in venue no 7, the New Town Theatre, 96 George Street.

Located almost mid-way between the Assembly Rooms and Charlotte Square, 96 George Street is, outwith the Festival period, Freemasons Hall. Built during 1911 – 1912 to serve as the Grand Lodge of Scotland it is a beautiful, lavishly decorated building.

Our show will take place in the largest of the theatre spaces within the building called, for reasons which will become apparent ‘Majestic’. With 290 raked seats and a balcony seating 60 good sight lines are assured for the show.

Access to our venue is via 8 steps up from the George Street pavement and thereafter there is level access.  Staff are available to help those with mobility difficulties
