The classic of Chinese silent cinema, Goddess, featuring Ruan Lingyu is screened with an original score especially commissioned for Cinema China. The music is composed by Dr. Kimho Ip and performed by Lucy Kendra (vocalist), Filip Davidse (saxophone) and Dr. Kimho Ip (yang chin). Introduced by Maggie Cheung.

Prior to the screening of The Love Eterne the Filmhouse Café/Bar will be transformed into a Chinese Teahouse with live music. Come and hear the famous Butterfly Lover’s tune from the movie and other pieces mixing Eastern and Western elements produced by instruments as diverse as saxophone and yang chin.
