Dragon Boat Festival Celebration – 24 June, 2023

Celebrate Dragon Boat Festival with an afternoon of fun activities.

On Saturday, June 24th, from 11.00-3.00 pm, the team will be ready to welcome you to Abden House, where in a short visit, you will be able to participate in a range of workshops, from Language Corner to the Chinese Tea ceremony. This celebration is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Institute, meet the institute teachers, learn some Chinese culture and enjoy several cultural activities. 

For this event, we also invited Hello Art, who will run a Clay-making dragon boat workshop. A Pop-up Asian cakes and desserts shop, run by Chi Chi Bakery, will also be at the event for anyone who wishes to buy some delicious Asian cakes. 

The clay-making workshop, hosted by Hello Art, will run from 11:00 – 12:30 and 1:00 – 2:30 pm. The workshop will run on a first come and first serve basis. A maximum capacity has been set per workshop to optimise the experience. The spaces are very limited!
