Join our next two Chinese Culture and Conversation Corners to discover two rich cultural veins of China.
Friday 12th October will give you the chance to start to understand the importance of tea in Chinese people`s daily life and to discover the cultural meaning embedded.
On Friday 19th October you will be introduced to some traditional Chinese music instruments and some Chinese classical music. Learn what the five tones of Chinese traditional music relate to; start to get to know some Chinese music; and try your hand playing some traditional Chinese musical instruments.
Our Chinese corners run on Friday evening from 5.30-7pm in the Autumn and Winter terms. Open to anyone who is learning Chinese or who has an interest in Chinese culture, each week there is a special theme. No booking is required. Just turn up, take part and enjoy.
