Event Date: 08/08/2012In memory of theatre director and playwright Ohta Shogo, the physical performance, e-Station, experiments with extreme slowness and quietness that has become the trademark of Ohta.
In e-Station, the complex relationship between the human body and electronic products is examined. During the rehearsals, the performers interacted with various public spaces: corridors, lobbies, busy streets, and parks, silently transforming them into new social spaces. Theatre is transformed by their performance, with the aid of experimental sounds and videos, breaking down its walls and connecting it to the reality outside.
