SCEN are holding a special event at the Royal Society of Edinburgh on Tuesday 27 September 2pm-4pm.

This is a special event in honour of SCEN President, Lord Wilson of Tillyorn, better known as David Wilson, the former Governor of Hong Kong. Entitled `Young China and Young Scotland`, it is to be led by Lord Wilson himself, who will share some of his own China experiences. In addition young Chinese and young Scots will talk about their connections and the importance of working together on a global stage. As well as being an interesting event the overall aim is to mobilise senior pupils to lead the way in China learning in our schools - to become SCEN Ambassadors.

Schools which wouldlike to bring a small group of really committed senior pupils who want to engage with China are invited to contact SCEN convenor, Judith McClure via the SCEN website.

This event is kindly hosted by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and is FREE. Adam Purvis, Business Development Manager of Ignite Your Brand and innovative leader of Power of Youth, will lead the discussion.
