Venue
The venue for the evening will be the beautiful baronial style mansion, Abden House, home of the Confucius Institute for Scotland in the University of Edinburgh.
Travel information
The Institute is located just off Dalkeith Road, adjacent to the Pollock Halls of Residence.
By car
Due to the one way system drivers should access Marchhall Crescent by turning off Dalkeith Road into Priestfield Road , then turn left onto Marchhall Crescent. Abden House is at the end of this road. Parking is available in the grounds and outside the main gates.
By bus
Lothian Region bus numbers 2, 14, 30, 33, 48 all stop on Dalkeith Road. Going out of the city exit the bus one stop after the Commonwealth Pool, walk forward and turn first left onto Marchhall Road. At the end of this short one way street, turn left into the private road leading to Abden House.
