Course Summary
Basic teaching content will include the three main aspects below:
- Improve the ability of using pinyin freely
- Expand and deepen the content of conversation teaching
- Get familiar with and be able to read common Chinese characters

- What are you going to buy?
- What do you think about the taste?
- What do you like doing?
- Is this a good size for you?
- Are there any tickets left for today’s acrobatics?
- Would you like to drink tea or coffee?
- Have you seen my wallet?
- How do we get to Tiananmen Square?
- How can I get to Shanghai Museum?
- Could I use your bicycle?
Teaching method
The course is tutorial based with a combination of whole class activity and group work. Students will be provided with written and audio materials as learning aids.
In order to fully benefit from the course and to achieve the learning outcomes, you will need to devote 1-2 hours out with classes to revision and homework

- £125.00 or £83.00 concession for ten weeks of two hour classes
- COURSE MATERIALS
- The class will follow a specially constructed course devised by our Chinese co-director and our teachers. Materials to support this course have been devised by our staff and these will be issued to students at cost. Materials will be issued at the first class.
