Calligraphy and Chinese Brush Painting Classes
This term we can offerboth beginners and improvers the chance to study the art of Chinese calligraphy and, if interested, Brush Painting.
Beginners will start with the practice of basic strokes and simple characters and then progress to more complex writing such as the student’s own name. With small classes there is plenty of personal attention and printed handouts are provided for home practice.
For the more advanced student there is the opportunity to pursue their own interest in the field of Calligraphy and Brush Painting.
Classes run each Tuesday evening from 6.30-8.30pm. Classes start on Tuesday 28 September with the last class of term being Tuesday 30 November.
All classes are held in the Confucius Institute and all materials are provided.
