WELCOME TO THE BACS 2011 CONFERENCE 7-9 September 2011

The British Association of Chinese Studies (BACS) is a non political organisation with a membership of well over 200 individuals whose interests relate to greater China. Drawn mainly from the academic community but also from industry, the media and government BACS maintains a comprehensive listing of opportunities to study Chinese at university level in the UK.

In 2011 BACS will hold their annual conference in Edinburgh from Wednesday 7th to Friday 9th September. Working in partnership with the Confucius Institute for Scotland and the University of Edinburgh the conference is open to members and non-members alike.

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from renowned Professors Wang Hui and David Derwei Wang at a special keynote opening session on Wed 7 September prior to the regular panels on 8 and 9 September.

Registration is now closed. The conference programme and abstract are available to download from the Conference programme page.
