Confucius Institute for Scotland gains chart success

Despite its relative youth the Confucius Institute for Scotland has been judged to be in the top twenty of over 200 Confucius Institutes worldwide.

At a ceremony next week to be held in the Great Hall of the People, Tiananmen Square, Beijing the Confucius Institute for Scotland will be recognised by Hanban, the Office of Chinese Language Council International, as being one of the top twenty in the world. Professor Natascha Gentz, director of the Confucius Institute for Scotland, will receive a trophy marking the success of the Institute.
